In a future where humanity has been infected by microscopic machines called nanites, some people mutate into dangerous creatures known as EVOs. Rex, a teenager with the unique ability to control his nanites and generate powerful mechanical weapons from his body, works with the organization Providence to battle these threats and, when possible, cure them.
